A most enjoyable read by a Canadian author. His memoir of growing up( age 14 to 24) in a tent and trailer park nr. Peterborough is funny and poignant. Girls who come to the resort with their parents offer a constant challenge for a young boy with a healthy libido. He has other challenges from an eccentric mother, a brother who becomes bi polar, a variety of resort guests and his responsibilities helping his dad who dies when he is 18 and must assume his role as a resort owner manager. As a man I related to his youthful lusts and challenges and the many opportunities for mistakes and excitement.
