Toy Story is a very charming movie! The characters are all likeable, and the storyline is very unique and creative. I found this film of the franchise to be particularly enjoyable, and I think that it would be entertaining for people of all ages! I think that the imaginative story makes this movie especially intriguing to younger viewers, which will keep them captivated throughout the entire film. Furthermore, there are a lot of important morals in the story, there is lots of adventure and action, and it is a really great family movie! Disney did a fantastic job with this film, and I would highly recommend that other viewers give it a try! @PenelopeScriptor of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library The movie called Toy Story is about a boy named Andy who has lots of toys that are actually alive when no humans are around. One birthday Andy's favourite toy, Woody the cowboy, finds himself in direct competition with a new toy called Buzz Lightyear. Woody is jealous and tries to hide Buzz down the side of the bed but accidentally pushes him out the window. Woody and the gang must now find a way to rescue Buzz before Andy’s family moves away. Toy Story is a successful franchise because it popularized the concept of toys that are secretly alive when the children who own them aren't around to see them. Adults and teenagers will enjoy watching this movie because they will recognize many of the actors voices such as Tom Hanks and will find some of the jokes really funny. I absolutely love this movie and the sequels that come after it too! I definitely recommend this movie to anyone ages 7+ and give it a 4.75/5. @GymGirl of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library This movie is a 90’s classic that chronicles the real-life stories of toys whenever the child isn’t around. Andy is a lovable child who adores his cowboy doll, Woody, however, after getting the new Buzz Lightyear action figure he seems to lose interest in Woody. Woody must overlook this though, since Andy is now moving and Woody and Buzz must work together to ensure that they and their fellow toy friends all make it to Andy’s new house and away from the evil neighborhood bully, Sid. This movie causes people of all ages to reconnect with their inner child and never forget about the imaginary life of their toys. Although slightly underwhelming at times, it is a classic movie earning it 4/5 stars. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to relive their childhood or experience an imaginative tale. - @The_Reviewer of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library
