A very engaging book from start to finish. We witness the author's transformation from making money while throwing caution out the window to becoming a lobbyist for human rights as the facts of the Magnitsky situation develop. In many ways this book demonstrates what is wrong with the world today: as the Russians privatize multiple industries, the risk capitalists circle like vultures & don't know when enough is enough, then they are outraged when they can't just skim or bank the profits like they do everywhere else. I'm surprised more people didn't wind up dead.
