An exploration of the life and career of the complicated, talented individual who was Bob Fosse, whose name still resonates as one who forever made his mark on the world of the Broadway musical. His darker impulses fueled the muse for his most celebrated works and yet in turn led him down the road to self-sabotage: nothing ever felt quite good enough no matter how many accolades he received. Fosse went through women much like the cigarettes he constantly inhaled and discarded, even after two heart attacks and open heart surgery, but one, fellow Broadway luminary Gwen Verdon, stayed by his side to the end. A great read for the Broadway fan.
