Add a CommentAnother enjoyable book for followers of Jane Austen. These are short stories inspired by the author's work: some set in the early 19th century and fleshing out minor characters from the novels, some modern takes on her themes. Included are some interesting notes on Austen's life.
i suspect that this is the first time in print for many of the authors included in this collection.
the first 3 stories are the winner and runners up of a contest... it would be good to know the order of the 20 others which are neither alphabetical by title or author for i enjoyed some at the back of the book more than at the front
