Quirky and bittersweet, this is a fantastic story about friendship. It's refreshing to read a YA book about a girl and a guy who are friends, not romantic partners, and the slight mystery element of the story is really interesting. Also: chicken curtains=YES.

This book was kinda dark and I didn't like Jonah. He was annoying to me. I liked how the characters were flawed though; however they seemed a little unrealistic. I don't know why, but I couldn't bring myself to like this book.

I can't decide if I thinks its good or just okay. This book is kind of different than most I read, and not every story can realistically become happy, but It would've been nice if it had a happier outcome though, or if there was a sequel on what happened to Jonah.

I enjoyed the book but I would've liked to hear more about what happened to Jonah did he really just disappear off the face of the earth and will Beatrice ever meet him again? like what really happens

"Beatrice Szabo, forced to start her senior year in a new place because of her father's job, is the new girl at a Baltimore, Maryland private school where everyone else has known each other since kindergarten. She's so emotionally deadened that her mother declares her a robot...but something tugs at her wiry heartstrings when she meets tortured, antisocial Jonah, aka Ghost Boy. Witty, emotionally intense, and at times startlingly funny, How to Say Goodbye in Robot is the perfect novel for proud misfits; fans of quirky, character-driven stories; and anyone looking for an unconventional love story." An extremely emotional book with a very unique story line. Many of the lower ratings seem to be a result of the ending, but that's just how the cookie crumbles. Books hardly ever end the way we want them to. It's the journey, not the destination, that counts. The story is both funny, and extremely sad. I also really liked that the "romance" portion of it wasn't a huge part of the book, and it wasn't your cliche mushy, gushy romance.

This book is not horrible nor extremely great. It's just average. I could relate to most of the book but I found the ending to be slightly lacking.

I really love this book. I laughed for three quarters of it and cried for the rest. There was always something so tragically raw and real about their relationship. I really wish I had a radio show like Night Lights. I have to admit, I dialed through my radio looking for one, but none were to be found. :( But this is one of my new favourite books. I'm going to go buy it now. I couldn't resist the very colourful first pages.

I really liked this book a lot. Bea and Jonah have a very interesting friendship and unique personalities. The book could get sad, but overall it was really good!
