This book, and the series itself, is an increadible feat of ingenuity and prose. Even though I am at the college level and this book is mostly for teens, I find myself blown away by the originality in usuing all those old legends. Incorporating aspects of arthurian legend, real-world history, and various other myths has been done various times on lesser scales, but this book takes everything and adds it all up in a coherent manner. I have to agree that if one is not well versed in their myths, legends and even children's stories a lot of the novels will seem confusing, but if one has a firm grasp of these things, like i have since i have alwasy been interesting is such things, then this book is a gateway to a world larger than that created by J.K Rowling's Harry Potter series.

To summerize: this book and the others in the series are awsome!!!!!

Like the other books, this one is so full of time travelling and and the like that you really have to read carefully. If you're not super well-read in your history and literature as well as mythology, some of it might fly right over your head. In other words, it's a fantastic book. You know, except for the lack of Charles as we know him.

WOW! This book is great! Fantastic, fantabulous, amazing. Time travel makes everything confusing and complicated, and everybody keeps re-writing history! Like all the other books, it can get pretty confusing, so re-read it once or twice to really understand it.
