Reading the description of this film on the website or on the DVD cover, one expects there to be some sort of drama going on at the heart of it. Nope. And one wonders as one sits through the interminable scenes of Orthodox Jews philosophizing and davening---where is this going? And finally, when it gets there, it does make sense, and it is pretty devastating…but frankly, until it does, it is like watching paint dry.
