The author explains that a verbally abusive man is a result of his 'image' of the DREAM WOMAN that he has imagined, and that is a part of him, coming into conflict with the REAL WOMAN - meaning his spouse, girlfriend or whatever.

To give the author credit, her explanations are far deeper than what I'm saying - but I find the whole idea of a dream woman vs a real woman a bit weird.

If you can get past the phyco-babble, she does have some good insights & thought provoking ideas.

I don't think I would recommend this to someone that needs real help in their relationship.
