SketchesBook - 2007
Eric Walters's new novel is a gritty, gripping tale of street kids, an unblinking portrait of what it means to live on the streets and, more importantly, what it takes to find the way off.

I want to see if this is what the story is about,I have not read it before and I am just guessing. :)
Sketches is about a boy who is homeless and goes to a free art lesson over a period of several week's and learns that he is very talented at sketching. The moral of the story is that, poverty is every were but it is possible to climb the dirt and grime and learn to have a better life. LOL I'm going to actually read the book now and see if there is ANY resemblance to what I just wrote
