Love this book! Where is silence in a busy city? If you don't know, you will find out in this gorgeously illustrated book! Music lovers, especially fans of John Cage and his silence compositions, will love this!

This book really spoke to me. There was actually a lot of suspense as the protagonist searches for silence but can't even find it at night or in nature. Starting to wonder if he'll ever find it, I was pleasantly surprised by the philosophy he uncovers at the end, which gave me a new outlook on my own frustrations at not always being able to find silent spaces. The artwork is really nice too - the illustrator has a great sense of setting and perspective. Overall, this book explores an interesting Japanese concept in a way accessible to many ages! Loved it! :)
