Follows Frank Wolf and Taku Hokoyama on a 2,000 km canoe trip from Yellowknife, NWT to Ranking Inlet, Nunavut through the largest wilderness area in North America including the Thelon Wildlife Sanctuary. The pair encounter a musk ox, bull moose, arctic wolf, caribou migration and John Hornby's cabin. They also interview politicians, leaders and other residents from the communities that frame the wilderness to present a clear picture of the area and the issues that face the Barrenlands, its wildlife and its people, including the effects of climate change, industry, and westernization.
