This is an amazing movie! It is based around when Verne and fellow woodland friends awake from winter's hibernation, they find they have some new neighbors: humans, and RJ, an opportunistic raccoon who shows others how to exploit the suburban bounty laid out before them. My favourite part of the movie would have to be the ending because this movie had a sweet ending. I love they showed the bond between RJ and Verne. I would recommend this movie to people of all ages because it is a family movie. This is a great movie to consider for your next movie night. This will keep you entertained. I love how each character has its own personality and there are no personality twins. Overall, this is a fantastic movie in my opinion! 5/5

The main character is a raccoon – a talking raccoon that is – and his animal friends. This is a mood enhancing movie that is humorous and enjoyable with good animation. Over the Hedge centers on a raccoon named RJ who lives in the forest with, of course, many other animals. RJ encounters a problems when he is confronted by a bear who accuses him of stealing his food (RJ is a thief). RJ must find a way to somehow return the food, and he is smart as he gets the other animals to help him. The animals find that there are people living on the other side of a hedge that separates them from the urban sprawl. Perhaps RJ will use this to his advantage and steal food from humans to repay the bear…

Noisy, visually unaesthetic, inane story that proved remarkably lacking in appeal for any of the children I know. Can't understand what all the hype was about.

Hammy: "Let's call it Steve!"
Verne: "Steve?"
Hammy: "Steve's a pretty name."
Ozzie: "Oh, great and powerful Steve! What do ya want?"
a voice: "I heard that young man!"
All: "AHH!"
The voice: "You get over here right now!"
Hammy: "Okay." (Lol. That is TOTALLY my favorite part.)
