Enchanting. Whimsical. Adorable! The adjectives will be flying and so will your knitting needles when you see the 20 delightful quick-knits in Woodland Knits. The brainchild of designer and singer/songwriter Stephanie Dosen, these critter creations include a Deer Hat, Butterfly Mitts, and Fawn Poncho - patterns that have already reached iconic status within the world of quirky contemporary knits.

Delicate woodland designs are quick to make. Highly imaginative, these 20 woodland designs feature deer, fox, and owls along with pretty flowers and vines -- and can be easily completed in just a day or a weekend at most. You'll love these small-scale projects because each one is cuter than the last -- and they don't take a ton of time.

Make today's hottest boutique-quality knits. While these clever knits look like those in specialty shops, they are fully within your reach. Woodland Knits provides photos, charts, and schematics to make all 20. Only traditional stitches and small amounts of luxe yarn are required - so you can sport today's hottest looks without breaking the bank!

Adorable! I plan on making Free Rapunzel (knitted ear flap hat), the deer hat on the cover and at least one Dragon Watcher's Hood!

k/c clothing. Some pretty adorable, if sometimes impractical, patterns. Hat w. deer antlers, per cover; moonbeam duster (good for wild west scenarios) very pretty fringe; bo-peep scarf* cuute; violet muff***; cabled pompom hat with long braids; cabled woodland hoodlet****; kitty (half) mitties...great for one of the girls; faerie wings (pretty veining);dragon watcher's hood (kinda cool, looks very warm!); "fox" stole or collar (collar is small and super-cute) (one of girls); juniper wishing scarf; butterfly half mitts; garden gate/ivy cowl (reversible); seedpod purse (looks fascinatingly rustic; would go well with hat I got Merissa; also with dragon hood)**; bear sweater with bear head/hood; wanderwillows legwarmers with what looks like cool fur trim...very nice***, good for short boots; wildflower crown (kids); birch scarf is cool, though I don't want to make it; changeling collar*; midsummer night's dream hood****. Attractive and original book. Would be best to make several of the items in coord. colours, as they might be difficult to wear otherwise. Elflesque!
