One of my favorite reads! Take it to the beach or weekend getaway. The story is interesting. Many female characters with different personalities that add to the story and at times makes you want to slap them.

I wanted to like this book more than I actually did. The plot seemed plodding to me at times, but then there would be something that happened to recapture my attention. I will admit that it took me longer than usual to read this book,…

while the story itself bounced from narrator to narrator, some of the most memorable, chilling narratives were to be found from the story's female protagonist and its antagonist. their similarities, when layered upon each other, were…

I really wanted to like this book, but after almost 200 pages, I just couldn't continue. The author allows the female characters to express the suppressed rage of (Japanese) society. That was valuable. The book wasn't thrilling to me, but…

This book, without a doubt, is a masterpiece. The plot is twisted and unpredicted. The author Natsuo Kirino, is a mastermind behind all those twists.

Just when the book would start to drag, there was a twist or turn I didn't see coming. It was a very dark book, and I wasn't thrilled with the ending, but overall very good.
