This is one of my absolute favorite 'go to' cookbooks. I continually return to Deb's books and blog when I need to make something simple, but delicious. Well worth a look through!

I learned to splat-cock a chicken from this book! . Perelman gives terrific advice. Who knew it was best to skip the big fat chickens and buy the small ones instead. The apple cake is yummy too.

We've added several recipes from this lovely book to our menu rotation at home - the Sesame-Spiced Turkey Meatballs and Smashed Chickpea Salad are particularly delicious, as are the Apple Cider Caramels.
