Audacious, contemporary, arresting and rewarding...this novel is all of these and more. It is simply, one of the best books I've ever read.
This book has one gory part but otherwise I found it so intriguing and challenging, about an artist's life, and the author makes himself (or someone with his name) as one of the characters.
By the third part, the book reminded me a little of Philip Roth, or Roberto Bolano's best novels.
